The Nemesis and Cryptonomist: new episode with Giovanni Motta

After Roberto Gorini was interviewed last week by The Cryptonomist in collaboration with The Nemesis, this week it will be Giovanni Motta‘s turn.

The dedicated gallery can be viewed at this link. At the moment it is still empty, but starting tonight it will be filled daily with new works by the artist.

Live with Giovanni Motta

On Friday, March 5th, live on The Nemesis, The Cryptonomist will interview renowned Italian artist Giovanni Motta to talk about his Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) currently for sale on the SuperRare platform.

The Nemesis is an online 3D entertainment platform that combines virtual world technology with gaming and gamification.

Virtual art galleries and live streaming events are two examples of how The Nemesis intends to deliver branded content through gamification.

So The Cryptonomist has partnered with this project to educate and introduce more people to the NFT world as it is a major trend for 2021.

The Cryptonomist live with NFT projects

Starting on February 19th, every Friday at 4:30 PM (CET), The Cryptonomist will be hosting events on this platform dedicated to non-fungible tokens, featuring interviews with artists and leaders in the crypto art world.

The first to be interviewed was Federico Clapis, while on Friday, February 26th it was the turn of Roberto Gorini with his project Crypto Heroes.

And now, during the third episode of this format, the protagonist will be Giovanni Motta.

Who is Giovanni Motta?

Motta began his career as an artist by painting with the technique known as hyperrealism. Over the years, his favourite subject has become the inner child with 3D works and sculptures.

Then in 2020 came the turning point and Giovanni began creating NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain, using the SuperRare platform.

It was in November 2020 that Motta started publishing his NFT works on SuperRare, selling his first work for 7.5 Ethereum (ETH).

Just two months later he had become number one on SuperRare as the world’s most trending artist.

The main subject of these NFTs is Johnny Boy, reflecting an exploration of the essence of the child that hides in the soul of every adult.

How does The Nemesis work

The great innovation of this platform is that while the interview is being held on a big screen, users enter The Nemesis as avatars, catapulted into a virtual art gallery where they can look at the works as if they were in a museum.

Avatars can also interact with each other, ask questions and much more, in order to create the most immersive experience possible.

Registration is free and the events will be live in Italian. Afterwards, replays can be found on The Cryptonomist’s YouTube channel.
