Emanuele Dascanio, the Italian hyperrealist artist selected among the 100 creators of Binance, has finally announced the date of his first NFT drop: today, 18 June 2021.
His first Non Fungible Token will be published on SuperRare, one of the most authoritative crypto art platforms thanks to the fact that it has a high curatorship and a marketplace specifically geared towards the release of single, and therefore not multiple, works.

The title of the work is “Sublime Ingenio. YOU are a NFT.”
To celebrate his entry into the industry, Emanuele DAscanio wanted to bring along one of his best-known works, namely “Allegory of the Sublime”, whose conceptual value is intrinsically linked to the world of cryptocurrencies.
Emanuele Dascanio explained to The Cryptonomist:
“In my vision, the sublime is the ultimate change of a state. It is the uplift, the elegant elevation, it is the exaltation of error. Nature exalts its errors instead of hiding them. As human beings, we always try to hide and reduce our faults by identifying with sin or guilt, instead of sublimating them into opportunities. But what is art then, if not the sublimation of these errors? What is fragile and hidden is therefore a vessel of strength and opportunity. The sublime is there in the void, it is everywhere, it is a zero-sum game. The blockchain, the work of Satoshi Nakamoto, is a shining example: fragments of code concatenated in an order that unstoppably transforms societies and history. Sublime ingenuity. Society, people, YOU who are reading this are non-fungible, irreplaceable”.Â

After this first drop today, we will find Emanuele among the 100 creators who will launch their artworks on Binance’s NFT marketplace on 24 June.
“Having stepped out of my comfort zone so much has allowed me to break free from my brand of hyperrealist artist and enter a world of extreme and liquid creativity. I love destroying myself to rebuild myself, I love the challenge. There is a very strong bestial impulse that drives me to create new worlds. This is a slavery and a necessity, but it is my freedom.”
Emanuele’s story
Dascanio is an artist with a 20-year career in figurative art, during which he has delved into Renaissance drawing and painting techniques with great determination and to date, his works are exhibited in private collections around the world.
“In my niche market, I no longer think in terms of coefficients: as of today, the value of the artworks I create can range from 20,000 to 480,000 euros. In this environment, creativity and production possibilities have been amplified dozens of times: if before I could follow one project at a time, now I have 16 projects in the pipeline involving institutions, start-ups and companies. Each of these projects leads me to the realisation of many works: some are innovative and never made by anyone else before, others will be in collaboration with important artists. The world of NFTs doesn’t let me sleep at night and if I used to work on my artwork 10 – 14 hours a day, I am now shifting this focus to NFT variations.”
