Elon Musk and his tweets: from Dogecoin to a shot at Joe Biden

In a speech given by the President of the United States of America on the role of car manufacturers leading the world on the transition to electric vehicles, Joe Biden failed to mention Tesla. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and his supporters commented on the social network of crypto-lovers: Twitter.

Elon Musk and his tweets aimed at Joe Biden

The speech given by the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, is said to have mentioned Detroit General Motors Co., Ford Motor Co. and Stellantis N.V

Yet, as is now known, Tesla’s fleet is already 100% electric, far exceeding the White House’s goal of 50% zero-emission vehicles by 2030.

In response to US Vice President Kamala Harris‘ tweet about the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, Craft Ventures co-founder David Sacks is said to have stood up for Musk:

“The future is already here and it was built by Tesla. Epic gaslighting by the White House, first to snub Tesla at their EV summit and now to pretend their union payoff in BBB will be responsible for Tesla’s EV revolution”.

And then Musk’s response to Sacks and an invitation from him to his fans on Twitter:

“Maybe they are NPCs and Tesla just isn’t in their dialogue tree?”

“Let’s see if we can get them to say the word “Tesla”!”

Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus, called Shibetoshi Nakamoto on Twitter, also took action. This time to support Tesla’s CEO, it was Markus who shared a meme. Here is the tweet:

Perhaps it is fitting, to say the least, that Markus tweeted to support and amuse the Tesla CEO, who has been sidelined by the White House. Just think of all the times the world’s richest man has shared his tweets in support of Dogecoin, backing it to the hilt.

In October 2021, even though Musk initially objected to the excessively high fees for transactions in DOGE, the CEO of Tesla then resurrected with new supportive tweets about Dogecoin’s Core 1.14.5 update and with joking statements (as he is used to doing) saying that he is the richest man in the world not only because of Tesla and SpaceX, but also because of Dogecoin.

Also last month, Musk is said to have pointed out, upon specific request, that he only has Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin in his wallet. This is to rule out the possibility that he was also a supporter of Shiba Inu, something that fans of the ‘Dogecoin Killer’ have always claimed.

Dogecoin (DOGE) is the most searched crypto on Google in the US

A study conducted by The Advisor Coach showed that the quintessential crypto meme Dogecoin (DOGE) has emerged as the most searched cryptocurrency on Google in the US, surpassing Bitcoin and Ethereum.

According to reports, interest in Elon Musk’s favourite crypto seems to have surpassed crypto market giants like Bitcoin and Ethereum combined. And indeed, in this regard, The Advisor Coach commented:

“The rise in interest can be partially attributed to the endorsement of Elon Musk who stated earlier in the year that Tesla would accept dogecoin as a form of payment”.

This endorsement would have brought 7 million searches in October 2021 alone, from a total of 23 states including Florida, Hawaii, New Jersey and Illinois.

On the podium along with the crypto meme, the second most Googled crypto was Bitcoin with 10 US states including Alaska, Mississippi, Connecticut and New Hampshire and then Ethereum with 8 states including Louisiana, Georgia, Ohio and Virginia.

In fourth place in the US is the ‘Dogecoin Killer’, Shiba INU (SHIB), which was created only 15 months ago and was searched on Google Trends by 7 states in the US, including California, Texas, New York and Nevada.
