Cortesi Gallery: The opening of the NFT exhibition with Dascanio, Mauro and Caillard

Yesterday, April 7th, 2022, the Cortesi Gallery in Lugano hosted the vernissage of the exhibition of physical works and NFT of three famous artists, namely Emanuele Dascanio, Matteo Mauro and Leo Caillard.

The exhibition includes the presentation of different works both physical (paintings, sculptures) and NFT format, in order to try to create a bridge between the two modes of making art and bring collectors of the world of traditional art to that of NFT and crypto art.

Entitled “Redefining Space”, the exhibition, curated by Lorenzo Cortesi, was held in the presence of artists and dozens and dozens of curious people, but also important artists and collectors.

The exhibition will last until May 13th with free admission to the Cortesi Gallery in via Nassa 62, Lugano. The event and exhibition was organized together with The Cryptonomist.

Both the NFT and the physical works of the three artists can be purchased, in the primary and secondary market, depending on the work.

The artists of the Cortesi Gallery

Leo Caillard, born in 1985, is a famous French artist who, a few months ago has also launched himself in the NFT world, in particular on SuperRare. Precisely on this platform he sold 5 Non-Fungible Tokens for a total of 30 Ethereum, attracting collectors of the caliber, of Poseidon NFT Fund for example.

Matteo Mauro, born in 1992, is a famous Italian artist who lives in London. About a year ago he started to drop his NFTs, moving from Opensea to Foundation and recently he landed on SuperRare. His last NFT, created in collaboration with Emanuele Dascanio, was sold for about 60 thousand dollars. In total, theFoundation has sold 12 works for a total of over 70 ETH.

Emanuele Dascanio, born in 1983, is a hyperrealist artist of international fame. He sold 9 NFTs on SuperRare to important collectors including Poseidon, Turing Fund, Fernando Elios and many more, totaling about 100 ETHs.
