Binance, “Italy is an important market for us”

A few days ago, talking with an Italian Binance angel, we find out that the exchange is planning to expand its influence in  Italy, so we asked an interview with CEO Changpeng Zhao to know more about this idea.

As previously explained, Binance wants to open 2 new exchanges per each country, who knows if Italy will become one of the selected for this initiative…

Also, the very big news is that the Binance DEX is almost ready and “We are actively working on our DEX.  We are hoping to have a beta early next year”, explained to us Zhao.

How does Binance want to enter the Italian market? Will you open an office in Italy?

The concept of “enter the Italian market” is old school. Traditional businesses “enter” markets one by one.  Blockchain businesses (at least some, like Binance) grow in all markets around the world at the same time. We already have lots of users in Italy.  Our website (Binance.com) support the Italian language from last August, one month after our launch. We have team members who speak Italian. We have Binance Angels (community volunteers) in Italy.

Why did you decide to bet on Italy? Which characteristics are you interested in?

Italy is an important market for us.  There is an active crypto community in Italy.  We have Binance Angels who are very active in the community there.  I think there is a high potential for the market to grow in Italy.
