In Australia you can pay bills with the Verge crypto

Verge, the 46th crypto per capitalization, announces on Twitter the possibility to pay bills in Australia using the Living Room of Satoshi (LRoS) platform, joining other cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin.

It seems that the mass adoption of crypto in Australia continues to see payment platforms trying to integrate more and more digital coins for everyday use, such as paying bills.  

In fact, the Living Room of Satoshi allows the possibility of choosing between Bitcoin (including Lightning Network transactions), Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, BCH ABC, Decred, Dogecoin, Ethereum Classic, Monero, Nem, OmiseGo, Ripple, PIVX, Zcash and, from today, also Verge.

Living Room of Satoshi, founded in 2014 and based in Brisbane, is not the only platform that offers this service in the land Down Under.

The Cointree exchange was already mentioned in the past, and, according to a report, there are other platforms that offer the same service, such as BitTrade, PayByCoins, IvyPay and Bit2Bill, but none of them offers a variety of choices on the number of available cryptocurrencies as Living Room of Satoshi.

In order to pay Australian bills on Living Room of Satoshi, the following must be done:

• You choose the cryptocurrency you want to use to make the payment.
• You select whether you are paying a BPAY bill or paying to a credit card or bank account.
• You enter the payment details, including the amount to be sent and the BPAY billing code with its reference number or account number and the bank account number to which you are transferring the funds.
• You enter your email address and verify all the details.
• You send the payment.

Living Room of Satoshi converts the crypto sent to Australian dollars (AUD) and pays the bill. They use this method to pay electricity, gas, telephone, internet, rent, insurance premiums or credit card bills throughout Australia.
