Erik Finman, a 19-year-old engineer, got rich with bitcoin and, taking advantage of his wealth, wanted to build a Dr Octopus suit to help the 10-year-old Aristou Meehan in his dream to become a cosplayer at the Comicon in London.
Sure, this isn’t exciting news, but it’s stimulating and encouraging to see how bitcoin and crypto can change the lives of children and adults.
“With great power comes great responsibility,” said Ben Parker and perhaps that’s why Finman wanted to help the kid, while obviously doing charity work.
Finman entered the crypto market 7 years ago when his grandmother gave him $1000. He had bought a total of 401 bitcoins and in 2017 they were worth a total of 5 million dollars, although today they are worth 1.5.
Several days ago a video appeared showing how the couple was able to build the suit of Dr Octopus, the villain in one of Spiderman’s films.
