As can be read in the press release, Chainlink has been developing oracles for blockchain for many years and their work has also been recently recognised and integrated by world-famous companies such as Google.
For QuarkChain, this partnership represents an important step towards expanding its blockchain, as stated by QuarkChain CEO Qi Zhou:
“Chainlink is a leader in the blockchain space and is working on real-world blockchain applications with technology giants such as Google. This has breakthrough significance for blockchain technology to enter the mainstream. We are honored to work with an excellent company such as Chainlink to expand the capabilities of QuarkChain’s smart contracts beyond on-chain transactions to touch more areas of users’ daily lives.”
Chainlink had raised $32 million with an ICO in September 2017, with the aim of creating facilitation services for smart contracts.
In June, Chainlink was also listed on Coinbase Pro with the pairs LINK/USD and LINK/ETH.
