According to data reported by Brave relative to the steady growth in the use and spread of the famous privacy-oriented browser, the number of publishers on the platform has increased 10 fold.
Indeed, towards mid-July of last year, the total number of Brave publishers was just over 20,000. Now, after almost a year, almost 230,000 publishers have joined, demonstrating that more and more users and companies are aiming to integrate and use the browser. The most noteworthy publishers include The Guardian, the Washington Post and CoinMarketCap.
Obviously, as can be seen from the infographic, the vast majority of publishers are YouTube channels, accounting for over 165,000 publishers; followed by Twitter, which has recently introduced the possibility of sending tips in BAT tokens.
Finally, there is also a good portion of publishers consisting of users of the streaming platform Twitch, followed by Reddit, GitHub and Vimeo. Yet there are no users of the music platform SoundCloud.
Anyone can become a Brave Browser verified publisher and, after becoming a publisher, it is possible to start receiving donations in BAT (Basic Attention Token) tokens.
