As explained yesterday in a Korean newspaper, Samsung will launch and present its blockchain technology during the SDC Developer 2019 event, which will be held in San Jose, California next October.
The event, which will be held on October 29th and 30th, will see the first presentation of Samsung’s blockchain and the strategy of Wook Lim, director of Samsung Electronics.
There will also be a more technical explanation by software engineer Soo Yeon Kim, who will explain the architecture of the Samsung Blockchain Keystore and how developers can integrate it into the various apps.
In fact, as is well known, the flagship device of the parent company, the Samsung Galaxy S10, allows storing the private keys of crypto wallets. Recently there was also news about the integration of some stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum and Binance’s BNB.
Samsung Blockchain, therefore, is not a wallet but rather allows the storage of seeds.Â
Furthermore, Samsung Blockchain will not only be integrated on Samsung Galaxy S10 but also on Galaxy S10e, S10+, S10 5G, Note10 and Note10+ and only in some countries such as Canada, Germany, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, US and UK. Contrary to what has been stated in previous press releases, therefore, the Blockchain Key will not be available only in South Korea.
