John McAfee: a Telegram group for McAfeeDex developers

John McAfee has announced the launch of a new Telegram channel dedicated to the developers of his decentralised exchange, McAfeeDex. The group is called SwitchDex DEV, and has already 101 members.

McAfee introduced it by saying:

“We have started a telegram developer group for any dev’s interested in developing extensions, add-ons, etc. For McAfeedex.com”.

Indeed, McAfeeDex is looking for developers to create a truly usable decentralised global exchange, forming a community of people working on the project to ensure its success.

Developers will need to check the code, create new user interfaces, create atomic swap functionalities and other tools. The already existing code has been published on GitHub and includes smart contracts and the front end.

APIs are already available, including all the features of most APIs on the market, such as executing queries on orders, transactions, deposits and withdrawals.

In the future, more details with some examples will be published, but the code already released should be enough to get things started.

A few days ago John McAfee also stated that there were already 6 portals in place for the use of the decentralised exchange and that the goal would be to reach a hundred.

In addition, McAfee had also specified that the DEX, contrary to what the SEC requires, does not require any KYC or AML procedure, adding:

“We are just a window into the blockchain where people trade. This is for the people, not the Government”.
