Huobi Wallet has announced that it is applying to become a TRON Super Representative.
The official tweet reads:

There are currently 222 TRON SR (Super Representatives) candidates, including for example Binance, BitTorrent and HitBTC. Huobi Wallet is now in 44th place. So far it has collected about 4 million votes, which is a percentage of 0.01%, although it is likely that it will increase over time. For example, Huobi_pool has 289 million votes, with a percentage of 1.29%.
In total, the votes are more than 22 billion, 55% of which went to Binance Staking. Whereas the second in the ranking, Skypeople, stops at 3.31%.
Only the first 27 are actually TRON Super Representatives, which means that for now, Huobi Wallet is still far from being able to actually become one. Also because the twenty-seventh in the ranking, TronVietnam, has collected 260 million votes, with a percentage of 1.17%.
A few weeks ago a new incentive plan for TRON Super Representatives was announced, bringing the block reward to 16 TRX, and the reward for the staking blocks to 160 TRX. These rewards are now ten times higher than the previous ones, and this may have convinced Huobi Wallet, and even others, to try to apply.
As far as the price of TRX is concerned, it is still more or less at the same levels as at the beginning of the year. After reaching annual highs at the end of June, it lost more than 60% of its value. Bitcoin, for example, lost about 42% in the same period but is still worth more than twice the value it had at the beginning of the year.
