TRON surpasses EOS in terms of dApps. Is that really so?

As reported by the CEO of TRON, Justin Sun, the dApps on the TRX blockchain exceed those on the EOS blockchain:

The data comes directly from dapp.review where it is clear that the number of TRON dApps exceeds those on the EOS blockchain, although both are well below those on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain which are over 2100.

By now there is no doubt for Sun, TRON is overtaking other blockchains and an increasing number of users and developers are embracing his blockchain.

But is that really so?

If we were to focus only on the data related to the number of dApps, then there is nothing to dispute: dApps on TRON are more numerous, but what the CEO fails to mention is the rest of the information and data that DappReview has published:

• The number of transactions on TRON is just over 400 thousand, while on EOS the number is far greater: 47 million transactions;
• The volume in dollars moved by the different blockchains sees TRON reach $3.4 million while EOS $20.8 million, almost 7 times more than TRON;
• The number of users is lower due to the fact the EOS network is overburdened.

In short, Justin Sun has cherry-picked only the best parameter he could be proud of as a success and is actually capitalizing on the slowdown in EOS developments, which for its part is about to launch the test phase of the social network Voice on its blockchain.

It’s certainly not the first time that Sun is making seemingly incredible announcements, which is his marketing strategy: striving to keep the public talking about him and his blockchain, similar to what he did when announcing his intention to allocate a million dollars for Greta Thunberg’s initiative, as well as the recent opening of his personal YouTube channel to make announcements.
