Dash: over 10 thousand new crypto ATMs in Mexico

Over 10,000 new crypto ATMs have now begun to support DASH in Mexico thanks to a partnership between Tauros and Dash Pay.

According to a post published on Twitter on Dash Pay, this new partnership will allow buying Dash directly using Mexican Pesos.

Dash Pay has just turned six years old, so this partnership in Mexico was definitely a great way to celebrate the event.

To mark the occasion, Dash Core CEO Ryan Taylor said:

“[The Bitcoin ATMs] Infrastructure that can continue growing our Latam (Latin-America) remittances strategy going forward and help expand our use for payments in Mexico, even among the unbanked. This is another great partner for Dash!”.

Also in Mexico, a few days ago, the Isatech exchange said it wanted to buy the presidential jet for $138 million, paying in Amero (AMX) tokens and with a piece of land in Southern Lower California worth $8 million.

It is certainly not new that Dash is very popular as a crypto in Latin America. It is worth remembering, in fact, the recent sales records set on LocalBitcoins in Venezuela, where even the famous fast-food chain KFC has started to accept Dash as a payment method.

Dash has probably become the preferred crypto in this territory, as well as in Argentina, thanks to its privacy protection feature, unlike other cryptocurrencies like bitcoins (BTC), which are only pseudo-anonymous.

Moreover, Dash recently launched the platform on Evonet and during 2019 the number of transactions increased by 178%.

This 2020 seems to have started well for Dash, especially from the point of view of market value: since the beginning of the year, the crypto has experienced a strong price increase from 41 dollars on January 1st to the current 116 dollars.
