Cardano: Haskell Node 1.8. arrives despite Coronavirus

Charles Hoskinson, CEO of IOHK, who is behind the development of the Cardano (ADA) blockchain, has published a new tweet informing users that the Haskell Cardano Node update is now available.

The version 1.8 of the Cardano Node, which is key software for this blockchain, introduces new functions and commands, improves some aspects and also fixes a number of problems and bugs that had been detected in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, the Coronavirus pandemic begins to spread and expand in the US territory, with almost all the States in emergency, including Colorado, where the same Hoskinson lives, reporting that he has put himself in quarantine to prevent contagion.

Anyway, the comments on Twitter to this news of the Haskell Node update are positive and it has been well received by the Cardano community, even though everyone agrees that there is no need to rush, especially nowadays partly because of Byron’s imminent reboot, which took more than 18 months to complete.

It is worth remembering that Cardano’s team recently announced the possible launch of a stablecoin, which would lead to greater use of this blockchain. Meanwhile, Tether (USDT) has also arrived on Bitcoin Cash (BCH) using SLP (Simple Ledger Protocol) tokens.

Furthermore, back in January, Cardano had formed a partnership with IBM for a software distribution project commissioned by the European Union, but unfortunately little has been revealed yet.
