As communicated by the team of LiquidApps, the company that owns the DAPPNetwork platform which allows many services such as vRAM or oracles, in September a bridge will be opened to connect the DAPPNetwork to Ethereum and then open the doors to a crosschain with EOS.
Perhaps not everyone knows that the team behind LiquidApps is a reference point for the EOS blockchain, since with its services has allowed scaling a lot of functions of this blockchain and leveling the costs for many teams and decentralized applications (dApps).
Blockchain interoperability with LiquidApps
One of the objectives that LiquidApps has set itself was also to enable interoperability between blockchains and take advantage of all the tools available regardless of the starting blockchain: remember that in the case of oracles, for example, there is a latency time of a few seconds and this guarantees an almost always updated price.
Another aspect not to be underestimated is being able to stake DAPP tokens in the various DPS and thus obtain an APR based on the project to be supported among those available.
In this way not only do the users obtain other DAPP tokens, but it also helps the system to be more robust and efficient.
The bridge between Ethereum and EOS
The countdown has begun as next September 6th this “bridge” between the Ethereum and EOS blockchains will be deployed that will allow moving the various dApps from one system to another, as well as the ability to take advantage of all the tools developed on DAPPNetwork.
This of course also opens the door to all those applications, especially in DeFi, which could start using different and more effective solutions.
The industry is growing a lot in the last period, especially on Ethereum.
The development process of this bridge will contain 2 distinct steps:
- It will be activated on the Ethereum testnet so that it will be possible to check for last-minute problems or errors;
- A bug bounty will be activated in order to be able to recover rewards in case of discovery of errors or vulnerabilities and thus all DPS are invited to put stress on the network at that moment.
It should also be noted that LiquidApps could be the solution for the challenge launched by Reddit to scale its system and it is thanks to this that this solution will soon be available in the DAPPNetwork system.
