Mastering DeFi: the first book that explains DeFi

Mastering DeFi is the title of the first book that focuses in full on the decentralised finance sector.

Decentralized finance (DeFi) is an ever-expanding sector with new projects and protocols arising every day, although very often some of them are of dubious reliability.

This has only led to confusion among users, as this is a completely new and innovative sector.

Unfortunately, there is little educational material about the crypto and blockchain world, and often the few books available are only about Bitcoin.

In this scenario, understanding DeFi could be very complicated and that’s why this book, which focuses entirely on decentralized finance, has been published.

“Mastering DeFi: Practical guide for beginners and advanced” is the first book that covers all aspects of this field, trying to be as complete and accurate as possible.

DeFi could be divided into 5 macro-areas:

  • Lending and Borrowing;
  • Payments;
  • Decentralized Exchange;
  • Asset Management;
  • Derivatives.

Mastering DeFi is available worldwide

Within the book, divided into 8 chapters, it is possible to learn everything there is to know about these five areas and, for each of them, it is possible to read the explanation of the major projects, such as Aave for lending and Borrowing or Synthetix for derivatives.

The author, Alfredo de Candia, also a contributor at The Cryptonomist, is already known for having written the first book about the EOS blockchain, entitled “Mastering EOS: Practical guide for beginners and advanced” (available on Amazon in both print and digital versions).

Mastering DeFi is already available in 8 different languages: Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Japanese.
