Dash – also called Digital cash – is an open-source P2P (peer-to-peer) cryptocurrency. The advantages of Dash are many:

  • Instant Transactions (InstantSend);
  • Private Transactions (PrivateSend);
  • Almost no fees;
  • It manages a self-financed, autonomous model that allows the Dash network to pay individuals and businesses to perform a task that gives value to the network itself. The decentralised governance system makes it a decentralised autonomous organisation.

The cryptocurrency can be purchased not only on exchanges but also in most ATMs around the world. Its goal is to be used on a daily basis and it is already accepted by a large number of traders worldwide.

With this partnership, the network of stores that accept Dash is expanding: iQ CashNow will integrate Dash into its solutions in Austria, Greece, Spain, Italy, Turkey, the United States and Ecuador.

“Dash was an attractive addition for IQ CashNow because it’s capable of settling transactions instantly. Low fees, transaction speed, and security are all core elements to our customers and towards driving broader adoption of cryptocurrency, and we feel Dash is a perfect fit”.

these are the words of Gerald Wirtl, CEO of iQ CashNow.

Cafes, bars and restaurants will start accepting Dash through iQ CashNow. Commissions for credit card transactions are typically between 3.5% and 5%, while the fee for processing cryptocurrency payments, thanks to iQ CashNow, is approximately 1%.

The average size of a Dash transaction is 10-20 euros, which means that the average fee is between 10 and 20 cents compared to 35-50 cents for a traditional credit card transaction.

“This partnership not only puts Dash and IQ CashNow closer to their shared mission of driving global adoption of cryptocurrency, it also makes transactions faster and cheaper for merchants across key countries and regions already seeing tremendous crypto growth”.

said Jan Heinrich Meyer, CEO & founder of Dash Embassy.
