Draper gives out 1 million in BTC

Draper Goren Holm will distribute at least $1 million in BTC to the participants of the Blockchain Summit in Los Angeles.

This year’s summit will take place online on October 6th and 7th and will include a total bitcoin giveaway of $1,000,000 in BTC, which will be distributed to the first 10,000 participants.

There will be more than 300 speakers and over 1,500 investors, as well as more than 20,000 participants, to the extent that they described it as the biggest blockchain event in the USA in 2020.

The promotion is managed directly by Draper Goren Holm LLC of Tim Draper, Joseph Holm and Alon Goren, and includes $100 in BTC for the first 10,000 subscribers who will join the eTORO Ticket offer.

The $100 in BTC will be determined at the time of redemption, at the current exchange rate, and the BTC can be redeemed on-site or online during the Summit.

Registration is free of charge, but those who do not sign up for the eTORO Ticket will not be eligible to participate in the giveaway.

This offer requires members to first open an account with eToro in order to apply for the free ticket, and the $100 in BTC.

They also have to spend money in cryptocurrency on the platform to qualify for the ticket, and will only receive BTC at the October conference.

So far, almost 1,000 registrations have already been declared, which is $100,000 in BTC already scheduled to be distributed.

Draper Goren Holm’s founding partner, Alon Goren, said:

“There is no better time to learn more about crypto and blockchain than right now. It’s going to be really, really exciting. We’re obviously true believers in the space.

Everyone at this point has probably heard about Bitcoin, but 99% of people have not used it or had any of it. We want to bring in the mainstream”.

The giveaway news is making its way around the world. After all, a million-dollar promotional giveaway is not at all common.

Draper Goren Holm’s initiative actually has everything it takes to bring Bitcoin to the attention of the mainstream, considering that, being linked to a conference that will be held online, it can involve people from all over the world. Moreover, at this moment the interest in BTC is high, especially after the recent price increases, and this makes the promotion even more attractive.

Maybe the 20,000 expected participants aren’t as many as it would take to introduce an important slice of the population to Bitcoin’s features, especially since most of them may be people who have already been in the industry for some time, but the news of the $1 million giveaway has the potential to reach a much wider audience.
