The Bittrex exchange has announced the next cryptocurrencies that will be delisted from its platform on July 19th.
The coins that will be delisted will be Bean Cash (BITB), BitSend (BSD), CloakCoin (CLOAK), Dynamic (DYN), GridCoin (GRC), Kore (KORE), Sequence (SEQ), Syndicate (SYNX) and TransferCoin (TX). These delisted cryptocurrencies were paired with BTC.
The tokens at issue have collapsed as a result of the news of the delisting from Bittrex, given that there are few exchanges on which they can count.
The reason for the delisting is probably the low trading volumes on these pairs, which thus only represent maintenance costs for the exchange.
As explained on Zendesk, in fact:
“The full details are in our official token removal policy, but we remove tokens for several reasons, including broken blockchains, violations of our listing agreement, possible compliance issues, unresponsive token teams, etc.”
