Yesterday, Pundi X announced that its XWallet will include several features including support for Telegram, Crypto Gift and support for Qtum as a virtual card, and others to improve the user experience.
The new wallet, XWallet 2.0, will support the Telegram messaging app, allowing users to send and receive crypto while chatting. The supported crypto and tokens will be BTC, ETH, BNB, XEM, and NPXS, the company’s token.
“Since we launched the XWallet, many users have been introduced to various cryptocurrencies and use cases, allowing them to be more comfortable in their owning and using digital assets. With these new features, we hope that XWallet users will find more ways to use their crypto assets through our app,” explained Zac Cheah, Co-Founder and CEO of Pundi X.
The wallet, which has over 250,000 registered users worldwide, is part of Pundi X’s global payments ecosystem. Users will be able to interact with numerous Pundi X partners in 25 countries around the world and thus use the above-mentioned cryptocurrencies.
With the new function that allows the integration with Telegram, the tokens are stored inside Crypto Gift and can be transferred to anyone via Telegram and without paying fees, both in private chats and in groups. In the latter case, it is possible to decide the number of people to send the Crypto Gift to.
Moreover, to celebrate this novelty, Pundi X will hold an event on July 12th from 20:00-21:00 GMT+8, where 4 thousand Crypto Gifts will be distributed among all those who participate.
