Yesterday Travala announced a new partnership with the DigiByte blockchain.
This partnership will allow users of the famous booking platform to get discounts of up to 40%. Users will also be able to use the DigiByte (DGB) token, ranked 55th of CoinMarketCap, to make payments on Travala.
The partnership was born from the recognition of the blockchain as being always ahead with technology, as stated by the CEO of Travala, Matthew Luczynski:
“In recent years, DigiByte has been at the forefront of innovation setting itself apart with multiple blockchain firsts, such as SegWit, as well as offering great speeds up to 40x faster than Bitcoin for example. We are excited to work with DigiByte to champion the growth of the crypto community and promote a future where crypto payments are universal and essential to everyday life.”
This is important news for the DigiByte blockchain which will now have a solid service to rely on and where their users can use the token,
DigiByte co-founder Rudy Bouwman explained:
“We are very grateful Travala.com has now integrated DigiByte as a native payment option. Travala.com is a leading blockchain-based travel booking platform that aims to be 15% cheaper on average than other booking platforms. DigiByte is a great addition to their multi-currency payment option. With the addition of DigiByte they are making another step forward towards cryptocurrency adoption.”
