The Domino’s Pizza chain has announced a €100,000 bitcoin (BTC) giveaway to celebrate its 30 years of activity in France.
This giveaway, which began on September 4th and will end on October 13th, offers customers a potential win of €100,000, but also other smaller prizes such as a stereo, a drone, a TV and much more.
All it takes is to record the proof of purchase of a pizza online on the website. The prize can also be won in bitcoin.
Pizza has entered the history of bitcoin after the famous Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10 thousand bitcoins (worth about $41) to buy 2 pizzas in May 2010.
The news is also very interesting because Domino’s Pizza is not new to the blockchain and crypto world: in recent months the company has revealed that it has decided to accept payments through Lightning Network and, more recently, it has entered into a partnership with SingularityNET to improve the logistics and delivery of its products.
