As reported by some users on Twitter, the famous LocalBitcoins service has warned of the risks related to using the Tor Browser.
A plausible explanation for this warning might be related to the recent discovery of some privacy issues found in Firefox, on which the Tor Browser is based, but which were actually promptly updated last week.
The official comment from LocalBitcoins arrived a few hours ago, in which the company reiterates that the use of the Tor Browser would not be against their own Terms of Service, although its use is not recommended.
Using a Tor browser is not against LocalBitcoins' Terms of Service, even though it is has not been recommended for security reasons.

A few months ago LocalBitcoins also announced that from October 1st, the users of the platform would have to provide personal information in order to continue using the service and that if the new conditions were not met, the users’ funds would be frozen.
Despite this, the expansion of the service doesn’t seem to stop, as it is always setting new records for bitcoin sales in Europe, Egypt and Venezuela.
