Mini Challenge: last race in Monza

Over the weekend, the Mini Challenge car race will be held in the city of Monza, featuring a car sponsored by the Swiss company Eidoo.

The two free practice sessions are scheduled for Friday, October 18th. The first one will take place at 10:10 AM while the second at 1:50 PM. The qualifying session will be held late in the afternoon.

Unlike previous championship weekends, this time the two races will take place on Saturday, October 19th at 11:45 AM and 3:25 PM respectively.

The participation to the event will be free of charge, more information is available on the official website

On the monzanet.it website, it is possible to download the PDF with the entire program for the weekend. The Monza stage of the Mini Challenge is part of a larger event, the ACI Racing Weekend, which also includes the Italian F.4 Abarth Championship, the Formula Regional European Championship, the Italian Championship Gran Turismo Sprint, TCR Italy, and the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia.

Federico Alberti, the driver of the car sponsored by Eidoo, said:

“We return to Monza, often referred to as the “temple of speed”. But this time it’s for the last stage of the championship, a championship that so far has been full of surprises and major twists. We expect to do well here especially because the weather forecast does not promise sunshine. I can’t wait to get into the car to prepare for the last two races, which will be held on Saturday. We’ll do everything we can to make up for the bad luck we’ve experienced in the last few races as we certainly believe that our real position in the championship is not the current one”.
