Malta Blockchain Summit: new speakers announced

The Malta Blockchain Summit event is expected to take place on November 7th and 8th, 2019 and will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel on the so-called blockchain island.

In recent weeks, an increasing number of new speakers have been announced every day, from Craig Wright to Anthony Pompliano, as well as Brock Pierce, Akon and Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister of the island.

Akon, known for being a musician, is launching his crypto Akion which will be presented for the first time during this Maltese event.

The Malta Blockchain Summit, since its first edition in 2017, is increasingly establishing itself as the most important European event in the crypto sector but also with regard to AI and Fintech with over 5500 delegates, 100 startups, 700 investors and 150 exhibitors gathered during the last edition.

The Cryptonomist, in addition to being a media partner of the event, will also be present on-site with the CMO Ilaria Stirpe and the Director and CEO Amelia Tomasicchio, who will participate in a couple of panels on education, art and media.

More specifically, the panels are two: the first will be held on November 7th in room 1 at 12:40 and is entitled “Global Currency War: a deep dive into public, private and government-denominated cryptocurrencies”; whereas the second will be held on November 8th at 15:10 also in room 1 and is entitled “How Blockchain can protect intellectual rights”.
