HSAH#, the first TV series financed with crypto

The 21Million Project announced today the first TV series financed entirely with crypto. It is HSAH#, the mirrored name of the classic #hash tag.

The TV series will start during the first week of December. The main element in the series will be the artificial intelligence and impact of quantum computers. The XYZ generation will be represented by technology enthusiasts and conspiracy theorists, redefining the machine vs. human concept at a realistic level compared to what the Terminator saga has done so far.

The team took the Mr. Robot series as their reference, which is at its fourth season and can boast 96% of the public’s liking.

An ICO for a TV series

The TV series was made possible thanks to the fundraising through an ICO (Initial Coin Offering) which, apparently, proved to be one of the few initiatives that has managed to survive until the present day following the boom of 2017, although the same company had to bear the heavy burden, as explained by the creator and writer of the series, Nick Ayton:

“Many people doubted our 21Million project, We were caught in the negativity and tarnished with the same brush as bad projects, but the enormous effort has been worth it. We have something really good to show given our budget was actually quite small”.

The business model is intriguing, as it focuses on the serial factor and the success of the series: it is well known that when a series gains momentum, it is the same public that demands the following seasons, which also attracts Hollywood budgets.

From the point of view of the cast, it is full of young actors who may give a lot to the series into the future, and with the advent of various platforms designed for streaming TV series, the potential audience is virtually millions of viewers. The platforms might also pave the way for potential partnerships.

As mentioned, the pilot episode will be broadcast in early December and the full series will start in 2020. The trailer was presented at the recent CC London Forum 2019 event.
