Brave, the company of the homonymous browser that allows earning BAT (Basic Attention Token) by viewing targeted advertising, has set a new record for its activity, reaching as many as 300 thousand publishers.
As can be seen from the table, the numbers are really impressive and we’re only talking about the publishers who operate and use the relevant browser. The lion’s share is taken by YouTube, the preferred platform for publishers, while in third place there is Twitter, which was introduced only a couple of months ago.
Just over 2 months ago, in August, the situation was very different: the total number of publishers was just over 200,000, a figure that is now only covered by YouTube publishers. In percentage terms, therefore, there has been an increase of 30%.
Also from the point of view of users, as recorded in the official report a few weeks ago, the Brave browser has a monthly activity of 8 million users who can receive BAT tokens from almost 400 active advertisements.
The privacy aspect is an important issue for the end-user. Brave, compared to the competition, guarantees a higher level of privacy and this is probably one of the reasons why more and more users and publishers decide to opt for this solution, in addition to the fact – obviously – of being able to earn BAT.
BAT is currently at position 27 on CoinMarketCap and maintains its value in the $0.16 to $0.23 range.
