F1® Delta Time has launched the new NFT “Australia Edition 2020” with a charity auction to support forest fire recovery efforts in Australia.
The non-profit charity event was launched by Animoca Brands, the company that launched the NFT dedicated to Formula 1.
This auction will see the sale of a single new F1® Delta Time NFT, the “Australia Edition 2020” car. The auction begins on March 12th, 2020 at 3:00 GMT and will end on March 22nd, 2020 at 3:00 GMT.
Participation requires a web browser that supports an Ethereum wallet, and bids can only be made in wETH, i.e. wrapped Ether.
The entire proceeds, in ETH, will be donated to Finder and HiveEx, which will convert it into Australian dollars and turn it over to some entities and individuals who are helping the rescue and recovery efforts in Australia following the heavy fires suffered in recent months, namely NSW Rural Fire Service Association, WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.) and the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
For those who would simply like to donate cryptocurrencies for this cause, the cryptofirealliance.com.au website has been activated.
The Australia Edition 2020 is a high power digital racing car in the form of a non-fungible token that can be used within the F1® Delta Time game.
Its livery is inspired by Australian Aboriginal art, recalling the roots of the earth, and the importance of preserving our planet. There are also two kangaroos, the animal symbol of Australia and the car has remarkable performance indicators.
Most importantly, being a single NFT, it has the highest rarity level of F1® Delta Time, or Apex. This means that there will never be another one like it.
Top speed is 984/1,000 and acceleration is 928/1,000. Grip is 958/1,000 and luck is 53.
In addition, this car will benefit from an advantage when racing on its home circuit, the Albert Park Circuit of F1® Delta Time, receiving an increase in all performance.
To date, several auctions have already been carried out on F1® Delta Time, which have raised a total of over 920 ETH, currently amounting to around $160,000.
The NFT that raised the most was the first, 1-1-1, sold on May 28th, 2019 at a record price of 415.9 ETH.
