Today a collaboration between Ontology and Bitcoin Suisse was announced.
As a result of this partnership, users of the Ontology ONTO wallet will now also be able to use the CryptoFranc stablecoin (XCHF), while the ONT token will be available for trading on the Bitcoin Suisse exchange.
This collaboration will allow ONTO users to receive, store, and send XCHF tokens while managing their digital identity, and at the same time will facilitate the purchase and sale of ONT tokens on the Swiss exchange.
In addition, this partnership agreement opens new possibilities for other mutual collaborations between Ontology and Bitcoin Suisse, with a focus on Asia and Europe.
The co-founder of Ontology, Andy Ji, said:
“We are thrilled to be working with Bitcoin Suisse, one of the leading crypto-financial services companies that has played a prominent role in defining Switzerland’s strong credentials as an elite crypto and blockchain jurisdiction. The timing of this is significant, given our imminent plans to establish an office in Berlin and to expand our European footprint more broadly. The importance of safe haven currencies has never been more pronounced, and we are very excited to extend the reach of the CryptoFranc stablecoin (XCHF) to our diverse community of users. This collaboration re-affirms our commitment to broadening the scope of our ONTO wallet capabilities, while also sustaining our platform’s organic European growth”.
CEO of Swiss Crypto Tokens, Armin Schmid, added:
“In the midst of this phase of global financial turmoil and uncertainty, both institutional and retail investors are increasingly being drawn to safe haven currencies such as the Swiss Franc. I’m pleased that users of the ONTO wallet can now access the CryptoFranc and use it anywhere that XCHF is accepted”.
The latest news on Ontology
Recently Ontology has also signed other partnerships, for example with Venezuela Blockchain and Spherity, a German company specializing in decentralized digital identities.
In particular, Ontology is increasing its focus on European markets, with the ONT token also added to the eToroX and Bitpanda platforms.
Moreover, the company has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the University Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) in Berlin to explore the possibility of creating joint research and teaching initiatives for the development of a series of custom blockchain applications. For this reason Ontology plans to open an office in Berlin in the coming months.
