Revolut Plus coming soon with new features

The UK fintech company Revolut today unveiled Revolut Plus, a new option costing €2.99 per month that will offer its 13 million users greater protection in the event of theft, damage or non-return policies.

This purchase protection will safeguard all Revolut Plus customers up to €1,000 per year, Premium customers up to €2,500 and Metal customers up to €10,000.

Customers who have these paid plans will be able to make returns on purchases for up to 90 days and book tickets for events without the fear of not being able to attend: in fact, if something goes wrong, you will receive a refund on your Revolut account.

Revolut Plus customers also have access to virtual cards and can shop using Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Customers who want to take advantage of Revolut Plus services will receive priority customer support and of course will be able to trade with cryptocurrencies and different assets, whereas parents can teach children how to manage money thanks to Junior accounts.

Revolut Plus starts today

Customers who want to become Plus customers can do so as early as today, December 22nd, 2020.

Nik Storonsky, CEO and Founder of Revolut, explained:

“We’re excited to launch our upgraded plans for our customers across Europe, providing them with great value for money while protecting them from out of pocket expenses. We want to help our customers shop safely, knowing their purchases are protected by Revolut from theft, damage, or no-returns policies”.

Felix Jamestin, Head of Premium Product at Revolut, said:

“Revamping our paid plans and introducing Plus should give a big boost to our customers’ confidence and wallets. Not only will they receive a new, affordable plan with additional protection, they will also get all the great features they have come to love. It’s encouraging to see how popular our plans have been so far, and we think Plus will be an attractive and popular addition”.
