Revolut Business launches “Expenses”

Revolut Business has launched a suite of tools called “Expenses“.

This new suite aims to offer smarter spending management, keeping expenses organized and controlled, to provide a greater level of control over business expenses and save time.

The suite of Revolut is particularly aimed at business owners who can use their corporate debit cards to keep track of expenses, missing receipts and overdue payments.

The aim is to reduce the amount of time employees spend managing and reporting on business expenses.

The tool is intended to give business owners visibility over their company’s expenses, including real-time spending notifications, spending limits, or the blocking and freezing of company cards.

Employees will be able to receive automatic notifications inviting them to send receipts of transactions made with company cards, and will also be able to attach them to the corresponding expense, thus reducing the amount of manual work.

In addition, since many transactions take place online, it will be possible to send digital receipts by email or upload them as a file.

The features of Expenses in Revolut Business

Among the new features will be the categorization of expenses, which allows users to organise recurring expenses into categories such as Transport or Subscriptions.

Users will also be able to customize both categories and tax rates, and export files in CSV format.

To use “Expenses”, Revolut Business customers will need to have one of the paid plans and activate the new features within their account.

Head of Product at Revolut Business, James Gibson, said:

“We have built our Expenses product to simplify everyday tasks for business owners, employees and accountants alike. Regardless of whether you are a freelancer, small business or future unicorn, our set of tools will provide you with control over your company spending – so you can focus on running your business.”
