Mastering NFT – the first book on NFTs available on Amazon

The first book on non-fungible tokens, entitled “Mastering NFT“, has been launched and is now available on Amazon in 8 different languages.

The NFT trend

Sure enough, 2021 is the year of the NFT boom, something that is seen by many as a bubble, forgetting what happened back in 2017 when the famous CryptoKitties invaded the Ethereum blockchain. Now, just as then, the market is finding new life, thanks in part to the proliferation of platforms for creating and buying and selling NFTs.

NFTs, an acronym for Non-Fungible Tokens, are special tokens, unique and unrepeatable in content, because thanks to the blockchain it is possible to identify them in a unique way.

The sector has started to make inroads, mainly in the art world, with famous artists selling their NFTs for record amounts. This has also attracted emerging artists, collectors and enthusiasts to interface with the crypto and blockchain world.

While the concept of an NFT is clear to many, as the definition is quite simple – it is a scarce digital asset – it is difficult for a novice user to understand the advantages and disadvantages of creating an NFT on one blockchain versus another.

While it is true that there are some blockchains that are more popular than others, with Ethereum being the most popular, it is also true that these can have some downsides, such as the considerable cost of fees.

In fact, transaction fees on Ethereum are around $100, which puts a brake on emerging artists who want to sell or collectors who want to buy these NFTs.

There is also the regulatory and legal side to NFTs, which many people do not know about and are unaware of the fact that there are directives and laws governing multimedia works.

Mastering NFT, the first book on non-fungible tokens

This is why the world’s first book on NFTs has been created, entitled Mastering NFT – A Practical Guide for Beginners and Non-Fungible Tokens. It is a real handbook that analyses the various aspects of NFTs (full index here)

In this book, 5 different blockchains are explored, with all the pros and cons of using them.

  • EOS, the first and only carbon neutral blockchain in the world
  • Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and the SLP tokens
  • IOST, a blockchain based on the Proof of Believability consensus protocol
  • Zilliqa (ZIL), which uses a hybrid system of PoW and PoS
  • Ethereum (ETH), the most widespread and well-known blockchain.

In addition, the following questions will be answered

  • Do NFTs pollute?
  • Can I create an NFT from a work I own?
  • How to protect NFTs with Copyright?
  • How much does it cost to protect your work?

The book Mastering NFT – A Practical Guide for Beginners and Non-Beginners is only available on Amazon and has been translated into 8 different languages such as Italian, English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.

Digital versions and NFTs of the book itself will be released in the future, proving that non-fungible tokens can have different applications.

The author of the book

We conclude by spending a few words on the author of the book: Alfredo de Candia.

A junior Android developer with a passion for technology and blockchain, he has already written “Mastering EOS” on the blockchain of the same name, and “Mastering DeFi”, which explains decentralized finance in detail. In addition, he was previously an author at The Cryptonomist.
