Binance App: Hotels as a new category in the marketplace

Binance has today integrated the new category Hotel into its marketplace. The new feature is available on the Binance App and offers the ability to book hotels by paying in crypto, through Binance Pay.

Here is a mini-presentation on how to view this on the Binance App:

Still in its Beta version, the newly introduced Hotel category was developed in collaboration with Travala and is the first project to use the Binance Marketplace that is coming soon.

Not only that, Binance Pay is the already active cryptocurrency contactless payment technology, which currently supports no less than 30 crypto assets, including BTC, BNB, BUSD, ETH, ADA, ATOM, DOGE, DASH, EOS, UNI, FIL and others.

A cocktail of novelties at Binance, useful to increase the adoption of crypto through a continuous and careful diversification of methods.

And, in fact, another exciting novelty was announced at the end of last month, regarding a new launch planned for June 2021 of the NFT Marketplace by Binance.

Binance App and the Marketplace: Hotels and NFTs with Binance Pay

Highlighting the fact that Travala is the first project to use the Binance App marketplace powered by Binance Pay for Hotel bookings, Binance can begin to prepare the ground for its dedicated NFT marketplace.

Indeed, with the increased interest in collectibles in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens, and the aim of becoming the marketplace of choice for NFTs, Binance had already described the NFT categories it wanted to include in its project. Artworks, esports, gaming and an increasing number of other sectors involved in the world of non-fungible tokens.

Not only that, but last Friday, the Premier League’s most successful football club, Dynamo Kiev, announced that they will sell tickets to their matches in the NFT format, directly on the Binance Marketplace.

The Ukrainian team, as well as being the first football club to issue tickets as NFTs, could also be the first project by sector to join a combo of innovations from the exchange giant.

In this regard, Mark Ginsburg, Dynamo’s head of innovation said:

“We have a well-calculated strategy and a clear goal over the next two years to make Ukraine’s best club the technological leader European football”.
