Jack Dorsey is launching The B World, an initiative that aims to dispel the false myths surrounding Bitcoin.
It’s not an actual live event, but more likely a series of recordings with important figures in the BTC scene who will address some of the features of the queen of cryptocurrencies.Â
As the official website explains, The B World will be launched on 21 July 2021.Â
It is an initiative that aims to:
“Demystify and destigmatize mainstream narratives about Bitcoin, explain how institutions can and should embrace it, and raise awareness around areas of the network that need support”.
From 21 July, a library of content will therefore be available that aims to inform the investment community, making them more aware of how Bitcoin can benefit institutions around the world.
Speakers and tracks of The B World
Speakers will include:
- Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest;
- Jack Dorsey, CEO of Square and Twitter;
- Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream;
- Michael Morell of Beacon Global Strategist, former director of the CIA;
- John Newbery, director of Brink.Â
These are the five tracks so far released:
- Demystifying Bitcoin;
- Supporting the Developer Ecosystem;
- Securing the Bitcoin Network;
- Regulating Bitcoin;
- Preserving the Bitcoin Ethos.Â
In addition, there will be a live session entitled “Bitcoin as a tool for Economic Empowerment”.Â
The initiative was launched by the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) and the official website features the logos of Ark invest, Square and Paradigm. The CCI describes itself as a global crypto industry alliance that wants to demonstrate the potential of the crypto industry and communicate the benefits to regulators:
“Crypto has immense potential to spur international economic growth and create jobs, improve financial inclusion and access, and enhance privacy and security. By sharing insights and expertise about the global crypto ecosystem while addressing misperceptions and misinformation, CCI supports governments and institutions worldwide in efforts to shape and encourage the responsible regulation of crypto in a way that unlocks potential and improves lives”.
The B World is part of this project.Â
As Jack Dorsey also said:

The B World also enshrines the long-standing partnership between Square and Ark Invest, thereby between Jack Dorsey and Cathie Wood. Both have demonstrated their belief in the potential of Bitcoin: now they want to convince the rest of the world of BTC’s usefulness.
