Aaron Rodgers paid in Bitcoin via Cash App
The champion has made it known that through his partnership with Cash App, he will convert a percentage of his earnings into Bitcoin. His decision opens the door to a new way of understanding remuneration in the world of sport.
Referring to a mobile payment service company is an example of how people can easily manage their earnings through decentralized and as yet non-institutional finance.
Rodgers recently signed a four-year deal with the Packers with a contract base of $134 million until the end of 2022.
The football player chose a viral video uploaded to social media to tell his fans about his new passion for the crypto world. This was also accompanied by the announcement of a million-dollar giveaway for fans who decide to join the cryptocurrency world through Cash App.
The quarterback wanted to point out the importance of Bitcoin for the future of the world economy, stressing the ease with which this new dimension can be approached.
However, this seems to be a sort of sponsored interlude that carries on a promotional line between the champion and the online payment service company. Rodgers made no specific reference to the amount of cryptocurrencies disbursed to pay his salary.

It is becoming increasingly common for athletes of international stature and fame to be attracted to the world of cryptocurrencies. Within this, a completely new and partly still unexplored market is moving.
