The $380 million funding round

Earlier last summer 2021, Ledger had closed a $380 million Series C funding round led by 10T Holdings, along with Cathay Innovation, Draper Associates, Draper Dragon, Draper Esprit, DCG and Wicklow Capital, Tekne Capital, Uphold Ventures, Felix Capital and many others.

With this raising, Ledger’s total value has been estimated at over $1.5 billion, making it the largest hardware wallet company in the world.

And in fact, Ledger claims that its devices protect private wallet keys on which as much as 15% of the market value of all crypto and tokens globally are stored. At the same time, it counts sales of 3 million devices in 19 countries, with more than 1.5 million monthly users on Ledger Live.

The investment round was aimed at expanding the company’s leadership, and among its many projects, the newly launched Crypto Life Card is focused on expanding the mass adoption of Ledger hardware wallets by simplifying the use of crypto in real life.
