Crypto.com integrates NFTs into the app and lists ApeCoin (APE)

Crypto.com has announced the integration of NFTs into its app, whereas only since last month, its NFT platform has featured Non-Fungible Tokens from Bored Ape Yacht Club and The Sandbox.

Not only that, the crypto-exchange joins platforms that list ApeCoin (APE), BAYC’s token.

Crypto.com and the introduction of NFTs in its app

The Crypto.com exchange has announced that it has integrated NFTs into its app:

http://Crypto.com NFT is now available in the http://Crypto.com App. Easily discover, collect & trade NFTs, and manage your crypto portfolio in one place. Live for users in ????????, with more countries coming soon!”

At the moment, Crypto.com’s NFT platform is available on the app of Australian users, with a promise to extend access to other countries as well.

In fact, Crypto.com’s NFT platform has been around for exactly one year, with the inaugural drop of Bosslogic and its collection entitled “Higher Ground”.

Ethereum-based collections, such as those of Bored Ape Yacht Club and The Sandbox, were only added last month.

“Crypto.com NFT now supports Ethereum-based NFTs like BoredApeYC & TheSandboxGame. Reach a wider audience, no extra listing fees, no gas fees for trades on http://Crypto.com NFT. Available for whitelisted projects”.

Crypto.com lists ApeCoin (APE), the token from BAYC

The new token linked to the popular NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, ApeCoin (APE), is now also available on the Crypto.com App

“Deposits and withdrawals of $APE via Cronos have just been enabled on the http://Crypto.com App. Deposit now”.

In this way, Crypto.com joins Binance, Kucoin, Coinbase Exchange, Huobi and other crypto-exchanges that have taken steps to include the governance and utility token from BAYC’s popular collection.

ApeCoin (APE): price recovery after initial collapse

APE had plummeted a whopping 80% in its first few hours of trading, dropping from its initial price of $39.40 to $6.48.

However, BAYC’s ERC20 token seems to have held up, maintaining high visibility and managing to be listed on more and more crypto-exchanges in the space of a few days.

At the time of writing, in fact, the price of APE has risen to $10.79, putting it in 44th position in terms of market capitalization, which has dropped below $3 billion.
