It is called Hondaverse, was designed for Twitch, and is a virtual world within the popular video game Fortnite.
Hondaverse the Honda metaverse
On Hondaverse there are customized Fortnite maps within which streamers and players can challenge each other. This way they can test their skills with virtual parkour runs and trivia questions.
In fact, the first iteration of the Hondaverse is the Honda Parkour World, built around the 2023 Honda HR-V.
For the launch, creator SypherPK was contacted and hosted a three-episode live stream on Twitch in which he explored this new metaverse.
I’m going LIVE at 2pm ET/11am PT in the first-ever Hondaverse!

SypherPK‘s second themed stream is scheduled for 13 July, and the third will be on 1 August. This will allow Twitch creators and fans to compete against SypherPK for prizes.
The famous Japanese automaker is trying to attract and engage new followers at a time when car sales are declining. It is enough to think that the Twitch category dedicated to Fortnite has more than 80 million followers.
Hondaverse was developed independently, using Fortnite’s creative tools, so it is not a product sponsored, endorsed or administered by the game’s developer, namely Epic Games.
Honda had previously tried to leverage Twitch to reach and engage a younger and wider audience, seeing that in 2019 it was the first automaker to launch a branded gaming channel on the platform.
It has also leveraged Twitch in recent years to go beyond gaming, launching a mixed reality music experience, and reinventing its own channel as Honda DreamLab.
On the other hand, Fortnite has long since evolved by going far beyond the classic shooter game, becoming a platform that is used for both entertainment and advertising. Indeed, Epic Games has turned it into a platform that allows brands to showcase their products by integrating them into customized virtual maps, one of which is precisely the Hondaverse.
Hondaverse is currently exclusive to famous streamers like SypherPK, but as early as the third stream on 1 August it should be open to others as well. It is worth noting that SypherPK has 6 million followers on Twitch.
