Elrond, which rebranded to MultiversX specifically to expand its applications in the Web3 and Metaverse sectors, has launched xPortal, its new Super App.
Essentially, it is a Super App that wants to offer its users, for the first time, a suite of incredible features designed to seamlessly integrate digital finance, money and cryptocurrencies, with features like end-to-end encrypted messaging and AI avatars.
Not only that, xPortal aims to become an easy-to-use portal for Web3 apps and metaverse experiences.
Hence, with just a few taps or the simple sending of a message, it will be possible to easily send and receive money, cryptocurrencies and NFTs, make payments, use a debit card, track investments, and explore financial, crypto, and NFT ecosystems.
In the portal, it will also be possible to customize and unlock new experiences by creating AI avatars and enabling interactions and messaging with friends, all in a secure and private environment.
In this regard, Beniamin Mincu, CEO of MultiversX Labs, said:

MultiversX and the new challenge “xPortal Fortification Quest”
In a roundup of tweets, Mincu was again keen to describe the progress of xPortal’s work, announcing that there will soon be a new challenge: the “xPortal Fortification Quest.”
This challenge shall be called “xPortal Fortification Quest”.
The first version of the xPortal App is BETA.
For the first 2 weeks, we’ll intentionally try to heavily test it, to find its limits.
Quickly finding bugs & fixing them, bringing new and improved releases every day.

Basically, Mincu stresses that the release of the new Super App will want to directly involve the community so that everyone can test it together while it is in its Beta version.
On the web page dedicated to “xPortal Fortification Quest,” users will be able to leave their feedback after having actually tested the Super App, while also receiving in return a special reward from SFT scheduled for 15 March.
In this regard, Mincu also pointed out that some features such as chat and avatars were intentionally released very early, so that the fun of fixing any limitations or bugs would happen together with the community.
xPortal will be available on both iOS and Android. Sergiu Biris, MultiversX Labs product manager, commented:

The price trend of the crypto Elrond (EGLD)
The crypto of MultiversX, formerly Elrond, EGLD, has seen a 10% drop in price over the past seven days. At the time of writing, EGLD is worth $48.32 compared to $53.5 seven days ago.
This is no different from the general trend of crypto assets, led by Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), which have also recorded a small price dump in the past week.
EGLD remains among the top 50 cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization, with a total market cap over $1.2 billion and a crypto market dominance of 0.11%.
Its ATH (All Time High) of $490 recorded in November 2021, suggests that EGLD‘s price is now -1000% from its highest price levels.
