Floki partners with World Table Tennis to expand crypto adoption

Floki Inu (FLOKI) has announced a new partnership with World Table Tennis (WTT) to reach more than 500 million people worldwide with the crypto meme.

Yesterday, Floki Inu (FLOKI) announced its new partnership with World Table Tennis (WTT) to bring the crypto meme to over 500 million people worldwide.

Basically, the new crypto partner is World Table Tennis (WTT), the organisation created by the International Table Tennis Foundation (ITTF), the governing body of all national table tennis associations. 

The partnership with Floki also marks the WTT’s first partnership with the crypto world. 

Under the agreement, the Floki brand will be known as a sponsor for the duration of the 2023 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships. The Championships will be held from 20-28 May at the ICC Convention Centre in Durban, South Africa.

In addition, the sponsorship will include TV and other digital platforms such as LED table displays, table A boards, brand placement on the WTT website, a global press release and social media posts through the WTT’s global social channels.

Floki and Crypto partner in China

This partnership between Floki and WTT aims to give table tennis a significant presence in China and Hong Kong. 

Table tennis was declared a national sport in China in 1952. It is currently the number one and most watched sport in China, with over 337 million people actively following the sport in the country, which is home to 116 world champions. 

The WTT Championship Finals are the largest table tennis event in the world, attracting a young, digitally connected fan base. Around 75 per cent of the audience is aged between 16 and 49, highly educated and well informed. This is an ideal demographic and target audience for cryptocurrencies.

To follow up on this major participation in China’s most watched event, Floki also decided to release the Chinese version of its flagship game, Valhalla. 

Floki also extended its partnership with Btok, the largest cryptocurrency social media platform in China, until the end of the year. 

The price performance of FLOKI 

Just like the major cryptos, FLOKI has experienced a bearish trend over the past seven days. Its current price is $0.00003373. 

However, just last Friday, FLOKI’s price saw a significant price spike in less than 24 hours, ahead of the announcement of its listing on the Binance crypto exchange. 

Binance’s decision to list Pepe Coin and Floki Inu is an important milestone for both projects. It will give them greater exposure and access to one of the largest cryptocurrency communities in the world. 

Traders will be able to buy and sell tokens with ease, thanks to Binance’s user-friendly trading platform.

Floki Inu is a dog-inspired token that has been dubbed ‘the next Shiba Inu’. The project has gained a considerable following on social media platforms such as Twitter and Reddit thanks to its cute and catchy branding.
