News and prices of the crypto coins Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum (ETH)

Crypto news and price analysis: how are Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum (ETH) coins performing within the market?

Let’s see all the details about them below.

What will be the future of the Dogecoin crypto? Some considerations

On 1 January 2023, the value of the Dogecoin crypto was $0.0047, and investors managed to accumulate 1.7 million DOGE during that period.

However, everything changed when Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, announced his investments in Dogecoin and started tweeting frantically about it.

As a result, the cryptocurrency based on the dog meme became the main topic and since then its price has skyrocketed.

On 8 May 2021, DOGE reached an all-time high of $0.73. As a result, between January and May 2021, Dogecoin increased by 13,900%, generating incredible wealth in a short period of time.

Furthermore, we see that an investment of $8,000 made on 1 January 2023 could have reached $1.2 million by May of the same year. During 2021 thousands of investors made $1 million or more through Dogecoin, taking advantage of the growing market

Its competitor, Shiba Inu, also made amazing gains during this period and attracted the attention of millions of new investors in the cryptocurrency world.

However, in 2023, the “millionaire-making machine” seems to have stopped, as Dogecoin continues to steadily decline. In fact, most holders are experiencing losses and it seems unlikely that the 2021 rally will be repeated.

And so, the enthusiasm around DOGE has faded, making the meme-based cryptocurrency seem like something useless without its previous popularity.

Focus on LTC’s price: comparison with crypto assets Dogecoin and Ethereum

Based on the latest data, we see that a sudden 8% increase in the value of Litecoin (LTC) has sparked interest and speculation among cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Specifically, the question on everyone’s mind is, “Can Litecoin reach $1,000 by the end of 2023?”

Certainly, Litecoin has recently caught the attention of traders as its value has increased by 8% to $70. Could this significant price increase indicate that Litecoin is emerging as a viable alternative to Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market?

We see that this price increase was partly driven by Bitcoin‘s recovery, which has rekindled interest in altcoins, including Litecoin. In addition, the implementation of the Mimblewimble upgrade, which improves Litecoin’s scalability and privacy, has helped boost investor confidence and, as a result, the price of LTC.

Experts and analysts in the cryptocurrency industry have different projections on the future price of Litecoin. While some expect LTC to reach $1,000 by the end of 2023, others remain skeptical due to market volatility and the changing nature of cryptocurrencies.

Ethereum seems to be weathering regulatory turmoil

Over the weekend, Ethereum (ETH), the second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, showed slight volatility, registering a 0.60% decline and falling to $1,741.24

So, the recent price trend has led to losses over the past 7 days

Despite the market turmoil of recent weeks, more Ethereum addresses are still in positive territory

According to data from IntoTheBlock (ITB), a total of 57.5 million addresses are in profit, representing 59.66% of all active addresses. At the same time, loss-making addresses total 36.84 million, representing 38.22% of the total portfolios holding Ether.

These figures reflect Ethereum’s resilience in the face of the regulatory turmoil that is threatening exchanges and other tokens, including Cardano (ADA) and Solana (SOL), among others.

While the challenges these digital assets are facing could be a catalyst for Ethereum, many remain skeptical that the cryptocurrency will be safe in the event of regulation determining which assets are considered securities.

According to data collected by ITB, only about 2.05 million addresses report neutral profitability, with no losses or gains.
