Revolut app introduces Trading Pro in Italy: all the tools for advanced traders

Recently, the Revolut app announced its new offering: the Trading Pro subscription, which features a set of advanced tools and targeted analysis designed to optimize trading for advanced traders. See below for full details.

The expansion of Revolut’s trading offer for Italian customers

As anticipated, Revolut unveiled its new Trading Pro service, a package of advanced tools and insights designed to optimize the experience for experienced traders.

This subscription offers traders the opportunity to enjoy discounted commissions and higher order limits for US and European stocks and ETFs.

To encourage informed choices, Trading Pro users can take advantage of the Trading Terminal, a desktop tool for detailed analysis of their portfolio.

Another new feature is the extended market hours for trading U.S. equities, made available to all users.

We emphasize that this new subscription is offered by Revolut Securities Europe UAB and can be added to existing Revolut plans (with the exception of the Ultra plan, which includes Trading Pro free of charge).

All the new features of Trading Pro

With Trading Pro, active investors can enjoy discounted commissions at 0.12% (instead of 0.25%) for trades that exceed the current limit of free trades in the Revolut plan and with no country-based minimum commissions, with additional commissions available.

In addition, Trading Pro offers access to higher order limits for U.S. equities, European equities and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): $10,000 to $1,500,000 per order on U.S. equities and €1,500,000 for European equities and ETFs, with a maximum of 50,000 shares per trade.

To support informed decisions, Trading Pro users can access advanced portfolio analysis, including performance comparisons, tracking realized gains and losses, and portfolio allocation, among other features.

Trading Pro also includes a desktop trading application (accessible through trade.revolut.com), which allows active traders to set up tailored workspaces, follow market dynamics, and conduct trades efficiently, all within a single interface to ensure an optimized desktop experience.

Revolut: Trading Pro expansion and innovations in the app

About the latest innovations, Rolandas Juteika, Head of Wealth and Trading at Revolut in the EEA, said the following:

“Trading Pro has been carefully developed to meet the specific needs of experienced traders, offering a range of tools designed to improve their trading skills.

We see an increase in the customer base with higher value portfolios using Revolut for larger trades, requiring more detailed portfolio analytics and desktop tools. Trading Pro is designed to solve these needs.

We are constantly working to expand the Wealth and Trading offering to a wide range of clients, integrating robo-advisor, mutual fund and bond services.”

The newest subscription plan, Trading Pro, is now available in the European Economic Area at a monthly cost of EUR 15, with a one-month free trial. Only users with a trading account can upgrade to Trading Pro through the Revolut app.

Revolut has also extended market hours for trading U.S. stocks, allowing trading from 4:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CET) to 8:00 PM EST (2:00 AM CET).

During these hours, only limited orders and whole stock trades will be available, but the same carry additional risks that must be carefully evaluated.

Clients are encouraged to examine the relevant risks before making any investment decision, as specified in Revolut’s risk description document.

Recall also that October saw the launch of one of Revolut’s biggest updates, Revolut 10, with a significant overhaul of the app’s design and interface.

In particular, the new design aims to simplify daily financial management, with a special focus on those who use Revolut as their primary bank.

Revolut’s core services are now easily accessible from the home screen, while tools for wealth building, saving, investing, and accessing lifestyle offerings are just one tap away.

Revolut offers access to more than 2,200 listed companies in the United States, more than 70 listed stocks in Europe, and more than 150 ETFs through its app.
