Crypto news and price performance of BGB, CRO and BONK

What is the latest news on Bitget Token (BGB), Cronos (CRO) and Bonk (BONK)? Here is an update on the three crypto projects and their relative price performance.

BGB, CRO and BONK: the price performance of the three tokens over the past 30 days

Over the past 30 days, while Bitcoin, the leader of the crypto market, has been leading the bull run, some tokens seem to be following the trend, even outperforming it in terms of price performance.

And in fact, at the time of writing, BTC is pumping +34% over the past month. Bitget Token, Cronos, and Bonk are also following the trend, but registering in the last month price pumps for BGB of +22%, CRO of +87%, and BONK of +1278%, respectively.

These are mind-boggling figures, which also see BGB touching its new all-time high (or ATH – All Time High) yesterday, priced at $0.58, with the market cap touching $800 million for the first time. At the time of writing, BGB fell to $0.53.

Not only that, the price of Cronos (CRO) has also just dropped to $0.096, whereas on the day of 11 November it would have touched $0.12

In contrast to the previous tokens, BONK, on the other hand, seems to have regained its highest quote of the past month, with the price again standing at $0.000002726.

BGB, CRO and BONK and the latest crypto news

While Bitget Token and Cronos are the tokens used by the two crypto-exchanges Bitget and Crypto.com, Bonk is the first memecoin with a dog developed on Solana’s blockchain.

And so, taking a look at the latest crypto news from the projects, it is easy to see that Bitget’s latest decision not to seek a Hong Kong license has not negatively affected its price.

In practice, the global crypto-exchange has abandoned the idea of obtaining a Hong Kong virtual assets trading platform (VATP) license. As a result, the dedicated website BitgetX, will cease all its activities as of 13 December. Bitget’s invitation to users of the platform is to withdraw their assets in time, otherwise they may lose them.

In contrast, just yesterday, Crypto.com, on the other hand, announced that it has been licensed as a virtual asset service provider (VASP) in Dubai. This will enable the crypto-exchange to offer regulated virtual asset service activities, such as exchange, broker-dealer, management and investment, lending and borrowing services.

Not only that, on X the blockchain on which CRO runs, it reminds its followers that applications for the Cronos Accelerator Program will close in less than two weeks

BONK outperforms major memecoins

Regarding BONK, Solana’s memecoin dog, it seems that the project is getting more appreciation than the leading memecoins of Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Who knows if this success is due to the opening of its staking business to the public, announced earlier this month:

Anyway, while BONK is pumping +1278% over last month, DOGE is only +26% and SHIB +22%.
