Crypto-exchange and others are flooding social X with new promotions such as cashback, discounts and rewards dedicated to the crypto-community in honor of Black Friday.
For example, KuCoin’s crypto-exchange is offering up to 40% cashback on trading. The event does not stop today, but continues through 3 December 2023.
Bitget’s crypto-exchange has also made its Black Friday promotion available, which sees up to 100% down on spot trading.
Not only that, Bitget is offering other crypto prizes such as 200 USDT, 1 and 2 ETH and 1 Bitcoin (BTC).
Bitcoin Black Friday: new crypto-wallet hardware offers
Ledger, the renowned cryptocurrency hardware wallet, has chosen to offer up to $50 in Bitcoin for those who purchase on its shop, while supplies last.
Trezor, another famous hardware crypto-wallet, has also decided to join Black Friday with its own promotion.
The NFT sector between Black Friday and Thanksgiving
Not to stop at just Bitcoin and crypto, Black Friday promotions have also come to the Non-Fungible Token sector.
For example, Nifty Gateway’s famous NFT Art marketplace has announced its Black Friday in collaboration with the Gemini crypto-exchange. Up for grabs, there appears to be a plentiful distribution of free NFTs for users with linked Nifty Gateway and Gemini accounts.
In contrast, other NFT marketplaces, instead of Black Friday, focused on Thanksgiving Day yesterday, Thursday 23 November.
This is the case of Rarible, for example, which seems to be sharing NFT themed “gratitude,” also taking the opportunity to thank some important partners.
The price of Bitcoin (BTC) during Black Friday 2023
As it turns out, Bitcoin is not quite on Black Friday today, as its price is at its 2023 high.
And in fact, today’s curve for the price of BTC is totally in the green, with the price being $37,795 at the time of writing.
BTC is up nearly 1% in the last 24 hours, +4.25% in the last week, and 9.82% in the last month. Not only that, compared to a year ago, BTC is pumping +128%.
Anyway, we are still almost halfway to the ATH – All-Time High touched by Bitcoin in November 2021, of $69,000.
Moreover, with the halving of BTC scheduled for April 2024, who knows that the current price despite being green, will turn out to be a very good Black Friday 2023 price in the future.
