XMas Game Fest promises a unique experience, not only for the big partnership at the base of its organization, but also because it was born upon the huge success of the NFT World Cup, an exciting competition introduced by Intraverse where Web3 communities clash in a street fighter tournament and engage in a wide variety of social quests.
By avatarizing the PFPs of more than 30 NFT projects, this format led to impressive numbers during the last Summer Edition. This winter wonderland promises an even stronger competition. The Intraverse gaming arena will be arranged creating an immersive Christmas atmosphere and it will host a street-fighter tournament featuring epic 1v1 battles in Player versus Environment (PvE) mode – so the players will play against a sophisticated artificial intelligence skilled on three different difficulty levels. The game will be playable across WebGL, PCs, Mac OS, and Android: so basically, you can play wherever you are, however you like.
The competition is open to everyone, players just need to select the 3D avatar of the NFT project they want to fight for and earn points through a myriad of activities, from battles, to social quests (e.g., share the screenshot of a gameplay on Twitter), challenges on partner gaming platforms, and quizzes to discover more about your favorite NFT projects.
The event will be divided into different rounds and during break days, communities can strategize, form alliances, gaming guilds, or launch social media campaigns to up their chances in the successive round.
Climbing the leaderboard will not only feel amazing but it will also increase the total scores for both you and the project you fought for. What can you win? A crazy prize pot of more than $10,000 in tokens and NFTs provided by sponsors awaits the champions! It will increase based on the number of participating projects and it will be distributed among the top players of each project.
