On March 14, Judge James Mellor in the United Kingdom issued a ruling stating that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of the Bitcoin (BTC) network.

The trial is over. Since the evidence against Craig was so strong, the judge announced his initial conclusions on some of the key issues at the end of the trial. It is now official from Judge Mellor: Craig Wright is NOT Satoshi!!!
Since 2016, Australian computer scientist Craig Wright claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of the Bitcoin (BTC) network. But on March 12, 2024, in London, the final arguments began in the lawsuit filed by COPA – Crypto Open Patent Alliance – against Wright.
Basically, COPA accused Wright of massive document forgery to support his claim. Specifically, COPA wrote:
“It has been demonstrated that Dr. Wright has lied on an extraordinary scale. […] He invented an entire biographical story, producing one tranche after another of falsified documents in support”.

It is evident that this sentence is involving the entire crypto community, since Satoshi Nakamoto is the inventor of Bitcoin, and therefore the one who wrote its Whitepaper.
And indeed, on X, many have highlighted the final verdict against Wright. Michael Saylor, the co-founder of MicroStrategy, tweeted:
“Craig Wright is not Satoshi.”
Even Hodlonaut, the bitcoiner behind the initiative of the Lightning Torch in 2020, commented on X.
“Craig Wright is literally the only person on the planet who is legally declared NOT Satoshi. We are ALL Satoshi.”
Except Craig Wright. This is an extraordinary result for him and his financier.”
Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter and Block, simply reported the official words of the judge:
“I will make some statements that I am convinced are useful and necessary to do justice between the parties.”
First of all, Dr. Wright is not the author of the Bitcoin Whitepaper.
Secondly, Dr. Wright is not the person who adopted or operated under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto during the period 2008-2011.
Thirdly, Dr. Wright is not the person who created the Bitcoin system.
And fourth, he is not the author of the initial versions of the Bitcoin software. Any further remarks will be addressed in my written judgment.
I will extend the deadline for the submission of any notifications from the appellant until 21 days after the hearing for the conclusions, which will be scheduled after the pronouncement of my written judgment, and I ask the parties to try to agree on an order that gives effect to what I have just stated.
The BTC wallet worth over 68 billion dollars

At that moment, calculating 1 million collected coins, Nakamoto held $56 billion in assets, ranking 25th on the Forbes list The World Real-Time Billionaires.
As of today, with BTC retracing and worth $68,000, Nakamoto’s ranking would have risen to 22nd.
On the contrary, while BTC exceeded $73,000, instead, in the world billionaires ranking, Nakamoto’s position would have also been the 21st place, if considered.
