Winners of the Zilliqa Ecosystem Grant of the BuildonZil program have been announced

Yesterday, November 13th, Zilliqa announced by means of a post on their blog the second series of projects that have been awarded funding. This funding is offered through the Zilliqa Ecosystem Grant, part of the BuildonZil program.

“We believe that a blockchain protocol cannot succeed without a talented community looking to build on it.

That’s why we started the #BuildonZIL program — to seek out talented individuals and teams to build on our protocol.”

The category to which the selected winners belong is “User and Developer experience.” In fact, the projects selected for funding somehow make it easier to develop on and use the Zilliqa protocol.

The winners

Eleven winners have been awarded funding by Zilliqa. These include two wallets, two block explorers, four developer tools and three user tools. The hope is that the development of these projects will bring more usability and adoption to the Zilliqa ecosystem.

The next funding, the third, will aim to help the development of second layer scalability solutions for gaming, SDK for Unity and Laya, Atomic Swaps and various tools regarding Scylla. Selections for these funds are already open.
