Asus, a famous company that produces computers and other hardware, yesterday announced that it has signed a partnership with Quantumcloud to allow the mining of cryptocurrencies with its graphics cards.
Quantumcloud is a startup with a software solution that allows players to use the unused computing power of their graphics cards to extract cryptocurrency and receive payments via PayPal or WeChat.
The software uses gamers’ GPUs to provide additional computing power to Quantumcloud’s cloud mining, giving card owners a percentage based on the amount of power provided.
Asus brings many high-end graphics cards to market every year and therefore has a large user base that can potentially earn money by installing Quantumcloud software.
This software is said to be very easy to use and protects customer data by keeping it safe. For example, it is GDPR compliant and does not require customers to create unique access. The software’s back-end also integrates digital wallet management, a mix of mineable cryptocurrencies, fiat currency conversions and money transfers.
However, Quantumcloud does not guarantee that users of its software will make profits or gains, and users themselves must also take into account the cost of using the equipment, mainly electricity. The company also points out that earnings vary according to the market performance of cryptocurrencies, and cannot be guaranteed or influenced in any way by Quantumcloud.
