Rehegoo Streaming is here, a platform based on the Ethereum blockchain that ensures fair remuneration for video content producers.

The platform was launched in Italy on March 23 and is now available for uploading videos and tracks on the homonymous site. This is just the beginning because on April 25th this innovation will be launched in the USA, where the Rehegoo Music Group is working with the famous music producer Quincy Jones to promote new talent through this innovative application.

The platform allows uploading music videos that are then made available in streaming for subscribers, whose monthly fees allow to pay fair compensation to those who provide the content. Currently, the platform already has 65,000 songs by over 1000 artists divided into 250 different categories, a remarkable selection already from the start.

As explained in the press release, on the one hand, Rehegoo has contacts with the major copyright protection companies in order to prevent unauthorised reproductions, and on the other, collects the copyright in the event that products saved on the platform are used. Artists will have access to an interface on which they can control the streaming of their songs and be informed about the economic returns they are getting.

According to Marco Rinaldo, founder of Rehegoo Music Group:

“Through our innovative system of collecting copyright, artists can freely upload their works in a shared and transparent database in order to prevent the possibility of falsification of their works, as well as guaranteeing them fair compensation”.

According to the founder, the platform is consistent with the principles of disintermediation of services, according to which the “middleman” is eliminated, in this case through the application of smart contracts that allow the direct and automatic payment of copyright.

The project will have further technological advances thanks to the collaboration with

Consulcesi Tech, which will provide its own know-how resources to allow further advancement of the project.
